Job Boarders

I wasn't sure how indeed worked so I sent them off an e-mail asking how to get my feed setup for inclusion in indeed. They sent me back a reply saying...

"Unfortunately, at this time, we are not accepting free to post sites. If you would like to resubmit once you’ve built up enough paid postings on
your
site, you can submit your XML feed including only the postings that are
paid."

I replied letting them know that my "free to post" site is the industries go to job site and it has the job listings that no other job site has. I have yet to receive a reply.

What is the concern about paid over unpaid? What difference does it make? A job is a job. Whether a company pays to post a job looking for a manager or if they don't pay to make the same post shouldn't matter.

To top it off they will probably want to charge me to use my content as well. Not sure about that but I wouldn't be surprised.

Yes, I'm annoyed.

I would be interested if this also affects sites like PostJobFree.com and Smartrecruiters.com. Anyone know?
Yes, it does affect www.postjobfree.com
After 3 years of hosting Indeed excluded PostJobFree from search index.
:-(
I guess that's how they plan to compete with LinkedIn and CraigsList.
