"In addition to Ken's point about finding companies, a real issue with Indeed and SH is that job postings are duplicated - it can be truly aggravating for a job seeker to plow through what turns out to be multiple postings of the same job. Also,…"

Dylan Michael commented on Phil Collins's blog post The future of job boards...
"I think there is certainly room in this space for both niche job boards and aggregators to co-exist. Employers and job seekers alike will turn to boards that are focused in their niche. The employers will find value in that the niche site is…"

"So, for example you spend 50% of revenue generated by your customer on promoting customer's jobs. That would mean that if customer pays $100/month and post only on job per month, then $50 would be spent on promoting single job. But if customer…"

Happy Holidays everyone!

Looking forward to 2008 and the good ideas which come from all of you. Thanks for the start, Chris; you must be "the man."

...and a technical niche board working in the water & wastewater industry:

I like to think of these as "micro-niche" boards.

This is fun and there is much more to learn...
