I like it so far.I switched one of my job boards over to it from Jobamatic. I opted for the $99 buck a month plan and Indeed backfill is paying way more on the same traffic than what jobamatic was paying.See More

"Anytime! One reason the jobamatics tend to or have tended to do well is because the content is always fresh from the API. The problem that we have run into with Panda is that the backfill is essentially duplicate content, that is the real issue.…"

A Jobamatic Question

I set up a new jobamatic site just over a month ago and so far the results have been pretty good, much better than the other jobamatic sites I have. I have not changed the backfill search parameters since day one and I would like to add an additional search term. Will this have negative implications with respect to google indexing the site or the page rank?

Currently the site has a page rank of 5 and according to my google analytics, google is sending about 5-600 people a day. I don't…

domain name tool which I like

Lately I have been busy getting a handle on the domain names I have with a focus on the recruiting and job related ones. I have been buying them since 1997 and always felt there was a lot of value in those purchases. In the last 30 days, I have become more and more focused on really trying to figure out what the value is and how to extract as much value out of them. It starts with a realistic approach to evaluating them and sometimes this is the beginning of a long term disaster if you place a… Continue

Jobboarders community discussion

Hi everyone. I would love to get some feedback from the jobboarders community about what you absolutely love about the site as it stands now and what you would absolutely love to see going forward.

It seems to me after really looking at this that the site is really used for discussion and a lot of promo. It's good that Chris set up a Press Release forum category for PR but it seems there… Continue

Very happy with Forcefinder. The key for us is Don's flexibility about programming into it the specific things we need -- some of which remain with us, other things which he rolls out among his other clients. He's got reasonable development/custom costs. We are very pleased with him.
