What are acceptable bounce rates? One of my sites is at 29% bounce rate for the month but another is 44%. 44% seems high, is this the case?

Jobamatic Question

I'm trying to hide the "Post a Job" button on a new site I'm developing.  I'm on the Jobamatic blog and tried both suggested solutions.  I can't get either solution to work.  Any suggestions? First:If you don’t want to let visitors post jobs to your job board, you can hide the “Post a Job” functionality by adding the following CSS to your header on your Header & Footer Configuration Page:<style>…See More

Stephen replied to Will's discussion Established niche job board for sale... $12,000 in revenue (only open in one state), amazing technology, great rep etc.
"Hey Mike - I can see where you are coming from however, this group has paying customers and I don't think they want these customers to know that the site may be for sale...as the post says, DM them for more information.  "
