We are currently upgrading our website, www.employmentjamaica.com and hope to launch the new version by April 1, 2009. Click this link to get a brief view of the community/blog section of the new site: http://blog.employmentjamaica.com

Our aim is to establish www.employmentjamaica.com as Jamaica’s national job portal, linking both jobseekers and employers, in a one-stop professional, state of the art online career and recruitment centre. The site will offer value beyond just a job search, it will continuously add content, facilitate networking, education, recruitment and community marketing.

The website is now into its fifth year of operation and with mo marketing, maintains a high rank on the internet search engines. Until now, it has existed as a free-to-use site, purely to gain page rank and to build the database of users. It is now at a point, ready to be taken to the next level to generate income. It now hosts over 7,000 of jobseekers who posted resumes and thousands more who registered on our website. We believe our website has the potential to become Jamaica’s No.1 jobsite on the net; we already have a good reputation as a regular staffing agency in the community.

We are seeking ways to generate a lot more exposure and traffic, either with career related affiliate programs, suitable link exchanges, or sponsors who will assist us in marketing the website. We are also looking for salespersons to build our commercial clients. Comments and suggestions welcome.
