What's the problem with the Brits?

Perhaps I'm a cynic, maybe I might go so far as to say that I am either stupid or naive but what is it with my fellow 'Britizens' that makes them so very hard to sell to?

We're new kids on the block in the world of job boards and thanks to Eric Yoon over at Jobthread, Inc we've been able to pursue a classified ad style approach to job boards with relative success.

Is it defacto that people expect whiz bang sites with lots of flashing graphics…

No jerks in this job board

Ok I'm not sure how they vet these employers as "jerk-free" but eBossWatch just launched its own job board.



According to their site;

Horizontal Niche Job Boards..?

Our job board - Fuse Jobs (www.fusejobs.co.uk) concentrates solely on entry-level and lower-level vacancies, but cross-sector. We call it a horizontal niche market - same as executive-search but other end of the market...



It's really difficult to find any comparisons or competitors to learn from as the market seems totally split into generalists and vertical market or sector-specific boards.
