Here's a story of
bad customer service by CareerBuilder. A person in Texas posted 3 jobs which costs more than $1,000. But they 'rejected' his order because it was over a thousand dollars. Frankly its hard to believe they cant take orders that big online. They should be making it easy for employers to do business with them.
At the end he offers CB some advice. This last one cracked me…

I learned today that Jobtarget, which already offers back-fill from Indeed.com is now offering their partner sites the ability to use SimplyHired as well. According to their recent newsletter;
Unlike the Indeed feed, the Simply Hired feed does not send users to Simply Hired's website! It sends them directly to the job. This is huge since you are not sending user traffic away to a job aggregator website.

I noticed an ad from Monster Trak on Facebook yestersday. While I applaud them for tryng to reach the facebook audience I didnt think the ad was particularly good. For one thing the right side was cut off slightly making it look unprofessional and the 3 jobs listed in it were totally unappropriate (for me anyway). They had the wrong location...you would think that facebook would only show me ads that reflected my regional network? guess not...…

I pay Indeed, SimplyHired and TopUSAJobs to send traffic to my boards. Last night I was checking the stats for each for one of my sites when I decided to take a look at each one's performance. I was curious if other Job Boarders have seen similar results?
As you can see the Traffic from TopUSA seems more valuable in terms of number of page views and time spent on site. Kinda surprised me. I thought Indeed would be better at that...?…

When they say "request employer introductions" I wonder if that means connecting the seeker with an actual human? So I'm a little hesitant to think of this as a 'human element' as they say. -CR

There is no shortage of gimmicks or unique offerings in the job board space these days. Witness:

It was created by some guy named Mark Thomas, a former staffing industry exec. From the description this appears to be the "iWon" of job boards. We all know what happened to that site.
