Inc. Magazine’s 26th Annual Inc. 500 Ranks Beyond.com Among America’s 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — August, 23 2007 — Beyond.com, Inc., the largest niche career network for business professionals, today announced that Inc. magazine has ranked Beyond.com No. 345 on its 26th annual Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

“We are honored to be recognized in the 2007 Inc. 500 list among America’s most entrepreneurial, innovative and growing companies,” said Rich Milgram, CEO of Beyond.com. “At Beyond.com, our team’s dedication to providing career, business and life solutions to professionals has lead to the growth of our Network of more than 15,000 online communities, and has given us the ability to deliver the highest quality, and most relevant, career opportunities and recruitment solutions to our employers and job seekers.”

The Beyond.com Network consists of more than 15,000 general, local and niche industry Web sites and online communities. The Network provides an online destination for business professionals to continuously grow as individuals; not only can they locate niche communities to reach more targeted corporate employers, but they can also obtain a variety of comprehensive resources to help them stay educated and achieve their individual goals. In addition, many of the sites that are part of the Network are sites in which people come to do their job, not necessarily look for a job. Therefore, the Network targets a large aggregate number of passive job seekers — a tremendous advantage for recruiters and hiring managers, and something most job boards can’t offer.

The 2007 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent entities — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2006, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.

The 2007 Inc. 500, as revealed in the September issue of Inc. magazine (on newsstands August 28 – October 2), reported aggregate revenue of $16 billion and median three-year growth of 939 percent. Most important, the 2007 Inc. 500 companies were engines of job growth, having created more than 64,064 jobs since those companies were founded.
