Job Boarders

If you have more than 1 job board you should have a hub site that helps promote them. Since I run more than 30 niche & local job boards, my hub is AllCountyJobs.com.

I have spent this week redesigning and tweaking its pages to be more search engine friendly and to showcase the sites for both job seekers and employers. Since I am adding new niche boards every week, it was time the site reflected more of what I’m doing.

Watch the screencast of what I did.

Interesting test. I have read that Bing uses GEO information in their search engine algorithm (also Yahoo since they are the same system now). Did you take that into account during re-design?

Not really, I just tried to focus on keywords. For example I am now ranking for the term 'green job boards' on google. So I enhanced the copy on that page as well as naming the file of the page 'green-job-boards.html'
