The Monster evolution: new tools - better candidates

MHXMonster is investing in new tools, technology upgrades and our people to provide you with the level of service you expect from the market leader. As career solutions continue to shift from print to online, the focus of our efforts is on innovation. More than ever, we are compelled to make Monster the destination of choice for your online recruiting success.

Monster’s investment also includes a commitment of $80 million in advertising and promotional efforts to reinforce our status as the #1 brand in the online career marketplace.

You have already seen some recent improvements, be prepared to experience more:

  • Better functionality and easier to use employer site

  • Improved matches between job seekers and recruiters with our Enhanced Job Categories

  • Precise matches for our seekers with a high performance, full featured text search engine

  • Detailed metrics to measure your job posting performance, so you can optimize your recruitment efforts on the fly

Comparative to these investments, we are marginally increasing our rates for job postings. We will honor quotes before August 9, 2007 up until September 30, 2007. Consult your Monster Representative for more details.

Monster is still less expensive and far more effective than traditional recruitment methods. As we continually invest in our innovative matching tools, the value you gain will be to locate candidates faster.

Jeez, you'd think with all the money they saved from the recent layoffs they would sit tight for a while. How much more can they possibly charge for a posting!

No big suprise here, they continually raise the the prices for postings just like CareerBuilder and the revenue keeps growing. Jobs are a hot topic on the web with billions being spent to advertise open postions...

I was on Monster over the weekend gathering leads and the job search page timed out twice. They have a lot of work to do.

As a Professional Recruiter you have to resort to using Monster to source passive candidates.... I would suggest another career...
