Good morning Larry,

Are you interested in niche or a general board - start up or established?

Good to bump into you again, Larry. If you're looking for the software and data but can drive the traffic yourself, then I can help you. We recently acquired EntryLevelJobs.net and jobs posted to our flagship CollegeRecruiter.com domain are now running on the ELJ domain. The integration will be complete within months and we are moving towards similar arrangements with sites powered by other organizations under which they'll choose whether to keep all of the revenue generated from employers or candidate actions. My recollection of your business model is that you do lead generation for the military so you'll probably prefer to keep the revenues from the employers.

Good to hear from you again Steve. Yes, we provide leads to the military branches. However, our most successful affiliates are 'job boards'. With that, we are eager to launch/purchase a job board targeted to 17-34 year olds to address those who may not elect the military as a career. Additionally, we have exisiting military candidates who are leaving the military.. and searching for a civilian career. You see, having our own civilian job board would benefit us in mulitiple ways.

We recently launced military.net (job board niche just with military jobs) and have recently purchased jobscity.com and usacareers.com domain names. We've talked with integrators like indeed.com and beyond, but ideally, like to purchase an existing job board with its own existing traffic. Glad to hear that you're continuing to do so well. Did you attend the affiliate summitt, T.R.A.F.F.I.C, or any of the industry shows?

I'm a regular attendee of the recruiting conferences but haven't been to an affiliate conference for years. We're leaving Beyond.com this year so will be assuming responsibility for the lead gen work that they've done for us. We've done some but they've done most of it. As we take that work back, we'll spend more time at the affiliate and other such conferences while continuing to have a strong presence at the recruiting conferences.

Tom, many thanks for the offer. But looking for a site with more organic traffic and searchable keywords in the primary SEs. Again, thank you for the offer. Have a great day. Sincerely, LF

I understand where you're coming from, Larry. We just completed the acquisition of http://www.EntryLevelJobs.net. We were attracted to it by its strong traffic of hundreds of thousands of visitors per year. It had negligible revenues prior to our acquisition but that was reflected in the acquisition price. We're able to monetize the traffic and will build up the revenues over time. We're not on a shopping spree, but will certainly be interested in acquiring more sites if the right opportunities present themselves.

Steve, will you be be attending AdTech next month? Like you, my focus is on age 17-27 year old markets. Entry level/hourly jobs/seasonal or college. Thanks for keeping me updated. LF

Unfortunately, I will not be there. But I am interested in attending a future show like that.

Larry, I own FitnessJobs.com. Very successful niche board for the health, fitness, recreation and leisure industries.

I also own several other niche sites that could be rolled out as a turn-key business: ParkandRecreationJobs.com, SpaandsalonJobs.com, AquaticsCareers.com, etc.

Contact me at alan@fitnessjobs.com if you'd like to talk.
